Privacy Policy

How Verdure Africa handles consultation enquiries, account information, project documents and payments.
1. Who handles your information
Verdure Africa LTD, based in Accra, Ghana, is responsible for personal information collected through this website and its consultation services. For privacy enquiries or requests, contact hello@verdureafrica.com. We handle personal information under applicable data protection law, including Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide in consultation enquiries, such as your name, email, country, service interest and food-processing needs. When you create an account or use a venture workspace, we also handle profile details, messages, uploaded documents, intake answers, milestones and session information.
The Project advisory desk processes the country, product idea and investment goals you submit. Website usage and technical information may include pages visited, referral information, device details and security or error logs. Payment records include transaction references, amount, currency and payment status; card details are entered with Paystack rather than into your venture workspace.
3. Why we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, review bookings, deliver consultations, maintain accounts, share project progress, communicate with you, verify payments and handle refunds. We also use relevant records to protect the service, diagnose problems and understand website usage.
Where applicable, our legal grounds include steps you request before a contract, performance of an engagement, legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating a secure service, and consent where required. Submitting an enquiry does not automatically enrol you in promotional emails.
4. Who receives information
Authorised team members can access information needed to assess and deliver your project. We use service providers for hosting and storage (Lovable Cloud), account access, email delivery, payment processing (Paystack), website measurement and secure project processing. Enquiry details are emailed to our team so we can respond.
The Project advisory desk shares submitted project details with a third-party processing service to prepare recommendations. Team research tools may process relevant project text, documents and search queries through research and processing providers. Please avoid submitting private recipes, trade secrets, unnecessary personal information or sensitive financial details to the public advisory desk. Discuss confidential material with our team before sharing it.
We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect lawful rights. Providers may process information outside Ghana; applicable safeguards and provider arrangements govern those transfers. External meeting services and linked websites have their own privacy policies.
5. Security and retention
Consultation enquiries are not publicly readable. Client workspace access is restricted to the relevant verified account, and team access is restricted to authorised personnel. We use access controls and private document storage, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for your enquiry or engagement, account administration, legal and accounting obligations, and resolution of disputes. Retention depends on the record and the purpose; we do not promise a fixed deletion period. Where appropriate, information is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
6. Cookies and browser storage
Account access uses essential browser storage and, where applicable, cookies to maintain a secure session. Website measurement may collect usage information. Where non-essential cookies require consent, that consent must be obtained before they are used. You can manage cookies and storage through your browser; disabling essential storage may prevent sign-in. Advisory-to-consultation drafts stay in the current page’s state rather than in URLs or persistent browser storage.
7. Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of personal information, object to or request restriction of certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Some records must be retained to meet legal obligations. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Contact hello@verdureafrica.com to exercise your rights or raise a concern. You may also complain to Ghana’s Data Protection Commission or another competent authority. Our services are intended for business clients and adult entrepreneurs, not children. We update this policy when our practices change and show the revised date on this page.
